As Sarah entered the room, there he was. Her husband's cold, lifeless, body. Sarah immediately went to a state of panic; her wonderful, joyful, and lively husband was sitting there now dead and naked on the hardwood floor. She collapsed onto the floor on her knees, what was she to do without her partner? She was going to grow fat and old with this man. But there he was, lying there lifelessly. What were Christopher and Madelyn going to think?  They were only 5, and weren't going to realize the significance of this truly tragic event. Sarah cried herself to sleep, right next to her husband's corpse.

Upon waking up, Sarah completely forgot what had happened, but then reality set in. She finally did the adult thing and called 991 and hopefully find out what caused this tragedy. After that she picked up her two children, the only thing she had left. This wasn't going to be an easy conversation. She walked into the daycare with tears in her eyes, barely able to speak. She just grabbed the kids by the neck of their shirts and basically dragged them to the car.

Once in the car, her two children saw no reason for alarm. They had just had a fantastic day! They made the coolest sand castle ever seen. After Sarah got her act together, she explained what had happened. The kids were absolutely devastated. Why wouldn't they be? Their outstanding father just wasn't there anymore. Gone.

Upon arriving home, the police were already there. She had sent the kids to their respective rooms and joined the police in her bedroom. Upon entering the room, she almost passed out again. She still couldn't comprehend what had happened. It all happened so quickly. They had the room marked in what seemed like hundreds of places. Because Sarah collapsed and couldn't see clearly, she had missed some key details. This clearly wasn't an accident. There was a quite strong smell of poison in the air, and a spilled drink next to his nightstand.

Upon further investigation, she had realized something the police hadn't. The mattress was replaced. Who in their right mind would replace the mattress of the person they were planning to murder?
